Thanks to the exaggerated physics and spongy controls, chaotic scenes quickly emerge. If you’re looking for a simple co-op game in the style of “Gang Beasts” and “Totally Reliable Delivery Service”, “The Stretchers” is definitely worth a look. In addition to the actual missions, there are some driving sequences: Before and after each level you race through the landscape in your ambulance-hopefully without any serious accidents.Īlthough “The Stretchers” can be played alone, it takes two people on the couch to create enough chaos to make for an entertaining evening. However, the difficulty level always remains moderate. In each level there are some additional challenges or items that can be collected. Once the patients are found, they have to be put on a stretcher (more or less carefully) and brought to the ambulance. After all, they may be trapped in a package, stuck in a barrel, or hiding in a toilet stall. Sounds simple enough, but the first challenge is to even find the patients. In “The Stretchers” you are tasked with collecting several dizzy people per level and transporting them to the nearest hospital. Surprise! #TheStretchers, a brand new game published by Nintendo, is out now on #NintendoSwitch #eShop.Grab a stretcher, collect your patients and get them to the hospital as quickly as possible. On top of rescuing dizzy citizens in need, the game offers several side missions that span sawing down trees, building ramps, blowing up rocks with fireworks, and even games of hide-and-seek.

Solo players can also go it alone, controlling both medics at the same time. Players can pass a Joy-Con to team up with a friend* to avoid traps, find bonus treasures and solve puzzles together, all while helping those who need a hand. Finally, after another thrill-filled road trip back, rescued Dizzies can be cured, just in time for another call to action!

Furniture can be moved to block zapping lasers, wrecking balls can destroy walls, and more. Once they’ve arrived, players will need to cooperate to pile Dizzies up on their stretcher (or grab them by the limbs) and bring them back to their trusty ambulance, dodging dangers and cracking conundrums along the way. To rescue Dizzies, players will drive to each scene in their ambulance, and this is where the chaos begins: break through walls, soar through the sky and face other wild perils on the way to each rescue.

Check out the game in action in The Stretchers launch trailer on Nintendo UK’s YouTube channel. Players can take on the role of two medics by sharing Joy-Con with a friend or set off alone to rescue troubled civilians, known as Dizzies, in all kinds of wacky ways. The Stretchers, a comedic puzzle co-op game developed by Tarsier Studios and published by Nintendo, is now available to download from Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch.
